The compact PG 300 electromagnetic (EM) pump is designed for gravity filling of molds or to fit a smaller furnace-crucible – primarily for aluminum but also for silicon carbide composites and zinc. The typical molding rate is up to 120 per hour with poured weights averaging 22-90 lbs. (10-41 kg) per mold or approximately 4,700 lbs. per hour (2,100 kg per hour).
CMI Novacast engineers can integrate EM pumps to fit your casting automation needs, starting with a feasibility study that will quantify the potential impact, ROI and payback period of using CMI Novacast EM pumps at your foundry.
